Before I wiped out the previous iteration of this blog, I went back and re-read all of my past posts. There weren’t many, but I do have two observations from that exercise: (i) there were a few interesting nuggets of content, and (ii) the writing was fair to mediocre, with occasional but not many brilliant moments.
My goal with this latest effort is to increase the interesting-to-not ratio for the content and to improve the quality of my writing.
Of course, this may prove to be so much delusion; if history repeats, the frequency of my efforts in this place will diminish to zero pretty quickly.
But I think I am motivated this time – after all, I’m now retired and have lots of bandwidth to dedicate to, well, rants and observations.
So let’s give it a go, shall we?
